You should change the shocks/ struts when ever you lower the car, if you buy a good kit like H &R or Eibach some of them come with the new shocks and dampeners If you dont change all of that at the same time your stock struts/ shocks can NOT handle the drop and will wear out QUICKLY

Thats cars not gonna be able to handle those rims. you might have to check to see if you can handle 2 less inches. sometimes u can get away with rolling the fenders. and when u go to a bigger rim and are dropping the car, u have to get shorter shocks or atleast better ones, lower springs, and drop spindles. atleast to do it right. otherwise your cars gonna bounce on the freeway.
