17 or 18 inch rims for firebird to make it look more sporty without havin any problems with the car... in what profile to get on the tires... yea its an 1999 firebird

17, just never go smaller then stock, remember its a mucle car so there has to be some rubber left on the rims dont make it look like a ricer with the lowest profile tires you can get on it

You will not have problems. Bigger wheels means less comfort. 19 or 20 inch is probably too big. Any tires would do. tirerack.com shows wheels and tires and it shows how the wheels look on your car.

17's smoother ride, still look good on it. wont have problems wither way though
